The bill flows through the House or Senate in this order:

• Committee Agenda and vote
• Floor Reading Calendar:
  • Second Reading
  • Third Reading and vote

If sent from the committee to be amended, a bill remains in the 14th Order (Senate) or Amending Order (House) and then dies at the end of the session unless an amendment is put forward and passes a floor vote. The amended bill then goes to Second Reading, Third Reading, and final vote.
