Candidate: Dem - Angel Zeimantz STATE REPRESENTATIVE, POSITION B, District 10

1. Do you support or oppose requiring families who home educate to register their children with either the state or their local public school district?

Support. I feel if we set aside money for education -- and not all students learn the same -- then each student and their family should be able to make a choice of how the student is educated.

2. Do you support or oppose requiring all children taught at home to take standardized achievement tests each year?

Support. To enter college students need to be prepared to take a standardized test.

3. What other requirements, if any, would you favor as a condition of a parent's right to teach his or her children at home?

4. Other comments that you wish to make on the subject of home education:

I believe that each student should have a dollar amount set aside for their education. If your child goes to a public, private, or charter school, that money would be given to that school. If parents choice to home school they should receive a voucher for curriculum to insure students proper education.
